Himalayan Edge with Go Barefoot

An interactive experience allowing you to trek through conifer and oak forests, tea plantations and river valleys of the lowland Himalayas in Uttarakhand. You will stay within rural communities in comfortable and charming homestays. The villages of Berinag each with their own emphasis on organic agriculture, folklore, handicraft and temples dedicated to snakes. Berinag offers a panoramic view of the Greater Himalayas, from Garhwal Himalayas to the Nepal ranges. Berinag was a major worship centre under the Chand rulers, and consequently abounds in religious folklore and culture.
